June 23rd saw 8 Abracs Warriors take on the demanding 12km route around the stunning grounds of Bramham Park in Leeds for the 2019 edition of Total Warrior. As part of a series of challenges spread throughout 2019, the Warriors were running, jumping, plunging and climbing to raise money for the charity Shelter. Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through our advice, support and legal services, hoping one day, no one will have to turn to them for help.

Daniel Lloyd has his eyes firmly on the prize this coming weekend as the TCR China series heads to Zhejiang International Circuit in Shaoxing for the third race meeting of the 2019 championship campaign (6/7 July). Yorkshireman Lloyd returns to the 3.2km circuit where he contested the 2017 TCR International Series in winning form after dominating the TCR China and TCR Asia mixed field in Shanghai last month.

Abracs recently backed student Alex Baldwin in his pursuit to compete in his first ever Motorsport race as part of his upcoming documentary! Alex kindly took some time out to chat with us and answer a few questions about his experience from the desk to the track and give us an insight into just how difficult a journey it can be into motorsport!

Over two days, seven of the team will be running, cycling and kayaking the 105 mile route from Nairn in Northern Scotland, past the historic Cawdor Castle, the legendary Loch Ness, the mountainous Glen Nevis and to the Isle of Glen Coe. The unforgiving Highland terrain and weather ensures this will be our toughest challenge yet, raising money for Cancer Research UK.

On a sweltering bank holiday Monday it was operation Soapbox for Abracs. In change of getting our car to the bottom was non other than Dan Lloyd TCR UK Champion! With up to 40 teams competing to be crowned The York Bid, Micklegate Soapbox Champions 2019 it was sure to be an exciting day!

Daniel Lloyd marked his return to endurance racing with a remarkable debut in the Creventic 12 hour race at Monza over the weekend, claiming pole position, a third-place podium, and fastest lap honours at the iconic Italian circuit (July 10-11).
